Lake Rules and Access Points

All boats and floating docks must be registered with ELPOA and display a current ELPOA tag. All cars parked on ELPOA property must also display a current tag. Gasoline motors are not permitted on ELPOA lakes, with an exception for the lake treatment contractor. Electric motors are allowed. Proper behavior is expected at all times on the water. The use of alcoholic beverages, either on the water or at the beaches is not allowed. All lake fishing, including ice fishing, is at your own risk. Fishermen must be an ELPOA member or a guest accompanied by an ELPOA member. A New Jersey State fishing license is required, by law. Boats may be docked at the Upper Lake Beach or at Little Beach, in the enclosed and locked boat yard for an additional annual fee.
There are numerous access points located around both lakes. These are used in emergency situations by our local fire department. Members parking their cars and docking their boats in these areas should use discretion in making sure there is adequate room for emergency access.
